The Villa

Rainbow Beach Villa (a.k.a. Bahama Breeze Villa), built in 2004, is a spacious, comfortably furnished, three bedroom, two bathroom vacation home with a full kitchen and all the other amenities needed for a relaxing, carefree vacation.

The calm azure waters of Rainbow Bay are just beyond the garden gate, close enough to fall asleep listening to the gentle lapping of the waves.

The stunning location is unsurpassed for swimming, sunset gazing, exploring the coastline with the kayaks provided for use of our guests, snorkeling at Rainbow Cay right off of the beach, and easy access to all that this beautiful and peaceful island has to offer.

Rainbow Beach offers endless pleasure at the doorstep of the villa. There are also many other beaches, several close enough to walk to and others short drives away, each with their own unique charms and characteristics to delight you whether your pleasure is swimming, sun bathing, surfing, snorkeling, fishing, or dreamy strolls along miles of empty pink sand by the azure sea searching for that perfect shell.

Evening may find you sipping tropical punch while dining at a charming nearby restaurant gazing at an unforgettable sunset, or perhaps barbecuing fresh fish on the deck of the villa overlooking the sea that you just bought on the dock from local fishermen in one of the nearby villages.

The villa includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, 3 large sun decks, a shaded gazebo, an outdoor barbecue grill, and an enclosed outdoor shower for washing off sand and salt when returning from the beach. It is centrally air-conditioned and also has fans throughout suspended from its vaulted knotty pine ceilings. It is surrounded by lovely tropical gardens. Our gardener will be happy to open coconuts for you from the palm trees in the front garden. If you visit you will surely find that you agree that there really is no other villa in a comparable location offering the combination of size, comfort, appurtenances, convenience and overall quality and value.

The living room features a 32” TV, DVD, and stereo with an iPod port. There is a collection of CDs and DVDs for your use.

The kitchen is fully applianced including stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, etc.

The housekeeper visits regularly and cleans thoroughly upon the departure of our guests. Additional cleanings can be arranged during your stay if you wish.

Our caretaker will be pleased to meet your plane and bring you to the villa, and can be consulted to meet your special needs, including the rental of a car. You are right at the beach and can stop at a market en route to the house if you wish, so a rental car is not strictly necessary. Having one is highly recommended, however, as it makes it easy to enjoy all of the glorious beaches on Eleuthera, and a number of good restaurants. There is also a tennis court nearby that our guests have the privilege of using.

We have been visiting Eleuthera for nearly forty years and we honestly believe there is no better value on the island when one understands the location, size, appurtenances and overall quality of Bahama Breeze.
